Welcome! It's that time again! Our 18th annual "Queens Pride" Day is just around the corner on Sunday June 6th.   Join us as we all march down 37th Avenue in the heart of Jackson Heights, followed by the jubilant sights and sounds of our Multicultural Street Festival on 75th Street at the end of the parade route. The Parade

The parade kicks off at Noon.  There is a Reviewing Stand on the parade route where our hosts, Paige Turner and Marcus Wollan, will announce the groups and the judges will cast their votes on parade participants to win the "Queenie Awards". Click Here for details.  Our Grand Marshals are Councilman Daniel Dromm and Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer.  The parade starts at 85th Street and 37th Avenue, and goes down 37th Avenue, ending at 75th Street.  Come be a part of this historic event on Sunday, June 6th 2010.  Click here for registration details.

 

The Festival

The Multicutural Festival begins at 11:00AM and ends at 6:00PM.  The Multicultural Festival is on 37th Road and stretches from 73rd Street to 77th Street.  Would you like to be a vendor at the Festival?  Click Here for the Vendor Registration form.

 

The Stage

Right smack in the middle of it all is the Main Stage featuring rally speakers, community group performances and fabulous talent. The Main Stage starts at 1:30PM and the last act ends at 6:00PM.  Click Here to see the performer line up.  Queens Pride is inviting musicians and performing artists interested in appearing at this year's Pride Festival Main Stage on Sunday, June 6th 2010 to register.  Click here to sign up.

You can also visit the Atlantis Stage run by Club Atlantis at the intersection of 77th Street and 37th Road.


Directions

By Public Transportation, take the E,F,R,G subway trains to "Roosevelt Avenue/Jackson Heights" station, or take the #7 subway train to "74th Street - Broadway" station. Both these stations are connected to transfer.

By Car, the nearest expressway is the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. From either direction, you get off at the "Broadway/Roosevelt Ave" exit ramp. Then drive up Broadway 3 blocks to the intersection of 37 Road & Broadway to reach the festival. The parade route is one block away from the festival on 37 avenue between 75 street and 89 street.
